March 12, 2021 - Da hätte ich etwas mehr erwartet als ein OK Wein...irgendwie wirkte der schon ältlich, nicht lahm aber...hm...auch schon eine etwas oxidative Nase, die mit Luftzufuhr nicht besser wurde...ich habe keine Flasche mehr, würde diese aber sicher nicht mehr länger lagern

November 18, 2020 - Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; Nebbiolo (@ RW): Beautiful and complex bouquet with dark plums and meaty flavors. On the palate a very firm wine. Rustic and with good acidity and powerful tannin. Will probably even improve over the next 3+ years. Beautiful wine.

September 17, 2019 - Monthly Tuesday group "The Dead Sparrow" #041: Barbaresco (By MW): Beautiful bouquet which is still a bit locked. On the palate juicy and mature dark berries, plums, leather and good acidity. Chocolate and cherries and sticky tannin, but overall a very good and promising wine.

May 30, 2016 - Lunch with Helen, Lorenzo and friends: Served open. An expressive nose of florals, spices and red currants and other red fruit. In the mouth, a relatively sweet entry, savoury mid palate, finishing dry. Juicy Burgundian-like acids. Serious structure and some puckering tannins on the back. Very good. Ideally, give it another 10 years.
