  January 23, 2015 - popped and poured, dark purple color persistent to the rim some highlight of red. leather, herbal notes and some red fruit on the nose. Alcohol, muted acid, blueberry, cassis, leather, sage and smooth velvety tannin to a medium plus finish dominated by the tannin and herbal notes. Developed in the glass and offered more fruit on the nose and palate over several hours.

  March 1, 2014 - This 85% Grenache/15% Syrah blend has good character and a decent finish. black pepper, cloves, tobacco, plum and a chewy bite. Showed better on day two. I don't think there is much evolution left but it will cellar for 5 to 7 more years.
