  October 7, 2013 - This drinks great right now, and is a wonderful example of balancing ripe fruit and acidity. The alcohol content is high at 14.5 but you feel no heat on the wine. It is great food wine. I love the wines of Marcel Richaud!

Interestingly enough, it shows more balance and freshness and a (c)leaner profile, without loosing the Richaud/Cairanne feel. Wish I had bought more of this (unfortunately I let the critics get the best of me and waited for the 09's). This will rock with one or two extra years of bottle age. Currently this drinks a lot better than the 09's (although these may not have settled down from the recent travel yet).

  October 24, 2010 - Nez complexe, avec coté floral, du poivre noir, des fruits rouges (framboises et fraises) et noirs (bleuets).
  Un vin solide, ample et charnu, du volume et du gras, un peu rustique mais harmonieux, avec la vigueur et le coté exubérant, gourmand des bons villages. Bonne acidité, l'influence de la syrah me semble plus importante que sa quantité. Très bon. 88-89 pts
