February 16, 2022 - 8th of 12, opened an hour, perfect level, dry cork which crumbled and pulled through and was a devil to remove leaving wine full of bits (what a pain!), even so wine was a step up on excellent bottle noted in Feb 20, youthful robe still, ever greater layering to nose and palate, grip, remarkably fresh and balanced given huge scale and depth to wine, upside yet, many years life ahead. VF (18.5).

February 26, 2020 - 6th of 12, opened 30 minutes, perfect level but dryish cork quarter travelled, big step up since last bottle in 14, still youthful robe, much more fragrant and nuanced, long and with excellent energy on exit, black cherry, earth and balsamic and much more, hints at long life yet. At least F+ (18).
