Community Tasting Notes 2

  • TJolley Likes this wine: 90 points

    March 15, 2010 - Wine tasted in 28OZ Riedel.
    Upon opening:
Deep reddish black color. This cabernet offers intense aromas of scorched earth, black licorice, black cherry, rosemary, and chocolate. The palate is rich and concentrated including rustic tannins, flavors of stewed cherries, licorice, and herbs; that is all carried on by a distinct green olive essence finished off with lingering oak. This is an outstanding example of old world colliding with new world.

December 27, 2009 - This wine was bottled and transported 2 weels ago, giving another 30-60 days before I complete a proper tasting note and give a rating to allow the bottleshock to fade off.
Only 100 cases made, and now there is only 75 left. People are liking it!
