December 23, 2021 - This bottle was consistent with the last one. I complete hot mess. Very pruney, VA and off-putting. This wine is OTH. YMMV.

January 12, 2021 - Another QPR find in Barolo-land that has aged out nicely. For a middle of the road "generic" Barolo that can rival much more $$ bottlings, this wine is a reliable standard, especially for folks just getting into Barolo and trying to figure out what its all about.

Yummy without being candy. Simple without being plain and dull. Age worthy. Enjoyed.

January 3, 2020 - Perfumed, red winegum nose made me a little worried it was going to be too simple, but it was absolutely not like that. Delicious, with a backbone of tannin keeping everything in check. Good length, great balance and almost better in its own than with food, so that you can enjoy the subtle flavours that abound. Drink now and enjoy enormously....

November 3, 2019 - Nice! What it lacks in depth it makes up for in drink-ability and versatility. Fragrant and inviting on the nose. Medium weight on the palate with high notes and ripe fruit still playing well together. I couldn't find the teeth coating tannins an earlier reviewer commented on. Opened and consumed over several days, held up well.

Ready to go. No need to cellar longer but by no means dead.

January 11, 2018 - Great nose, even better on day two. Teeth coating tannins, great mouthfeel and long finish. Really nice Barolo drinking very well. Probably could go another 10 years. Would buy again 92รท

(Renato Corino Barolo) Very dark red violet color; VA, spice, dried berry, baked plum, resin, mince meat nose; tight, a little gritty in texture, dried berry, tart black fruit, baked plum palate with sweet, gritty tannins, needs 3-4 years; medium-plus finish
