Community Tasting Notes 8

July 13, 2013 - A good value, with rustic, musty tannins, ripe thick black fruit profile, and long finish. It's manipulated, but I'd love it with BBQ.

    January 19, 2012 - Not complex but a bargain

June 28, 2011 - Great drinking wine. Deep color and a full nose of leather and berry. The taste is full of well balanced berries and earth. Very light tannins but not complex. It finishes a bit short.

June 10, 2011 - Deep purple. Minimal bright red berries on the nose. Palate was an earthy barnyard with some nice spice. Moderate dryness. Received as a gift, but for $10, a very good value.

March 9, 2011 - Deep color and smells of leather and earth which translate into a dark taste which lingers in the mouth. Deep berries round out the flavors but not a lot of complexity beneath it--good drinking though.
