November 22, 2012 - Because it comes from the same winery and the same vineyard block, of course there is a lot in common with the 2008 version. However, this wine is distinct from its younger sibling.

Nose still has the dried strawberry and earthy qualities, but it is much more herbal. Flavor is richer, with cherry melding with earth and some blackberry. Doesn't have everything the 2008 had, so it starts to disintegrate and fall off towards the back of the mouth. Finish is similarly long, but hotter with perceptible, but not unpleasant, alcohol.

October 13, 2012 - A hint of buttered popcorn on the nose. Definitely ready to drink. What we would expect of a nice Oregon Pinot.

July 16, 2012 - I think this wine is ready now. Lots of fruit, balanced tannins and acidity. Wish the alcohol was less than 14.5%.

December 14, 2011 - this has entered an exciting elegant drinking window; wish there was more

January 22, 2011 - Apricots and peaches with hints of vanilla on the nose, but a slight alcoholic harshness as well. Subdued and slightly fruity on the palate with an extremely luscious mouthfeel.
