February 21, 2024 - In a great place right now. Dark color, complex nose. Dark fruit, vanilla, coffee, chocolate. Very harmonious and round. Medium to long finish with silky tannins. 2 or 3 more years.

June 10, 2022 - Good, if not great, I wonder if this was not quite ready being out of a magnum. It opened a bit after a couple hours and became more interesting but it was never as good as the best Grattamaccos and definitely overshadowed by the 04 Darioush we had right after it.

November 15, 2020 - Excellent super tuscan, probablement un peu passé son prime mais encore très bonnes balance cassis, fruits noirs, bouche longe et finale sèche avec cuir et terreuse, un peu de craie ce qui me fait dire que ma bouteille était passé son prime.

October 11, 2020 - This bottle confirms what Grattamacco is like, at last. Very pleasant and armonic blend of CabSauv, CabFranc and Merlot. Tertiary scents prevailling though, where fruit is almost gone and pencil and underbrush appear with some balsamic notes in the aftertaste. Enticing and fashinating nose, consistent with palate. Very elegant, classy and refined. Tannins still there, mouthfilling. A great vintage for a great wine. At its apogee,with some years of glory ahead

August 11, 2020 - a nice Grattamacco after some disppointing bottles. Tertiary scents prevailling though, where fruit is almost gone and licorice, pencil and underbrush appear. Nose is really powerful and fashinating, while taste is - althogh consistent - a little bit less convincing althogh truly pleasant. In a fresh eveing at La thuile under the Bianco, entering into this lonenly week in a covid-summer.
