February 4, 2023 - Drinking beautifully right now. Lovely dark red fruit: huckleberry, boysenberry, marionberry leading to a rich, lingering finish. Excellent effort by Josh Bergstrom.

January 31, 2023 - Very nice Pinot here drinking well now. Definitely on the dark fruit..more masculine side of Pinot. Blind I guessed Tempranillo. Leather, earth and some orange peel on the nose to go along with cherry, plum and fig fruit. Nice acidity, oak still present but fully integrated, polished tannin. Nice lingering finish. No hurry to drink these as this will hold here for quite some time while continuing to add nuance.

  • ChrisR Likes this wine:

September 9, 2020 - Dark red. Darker fruits predominate: blackberry and black raspberry. Somewhat woody with substantial oak-driven spice. Dense and chewy; brawny almost. Nothing delicate about this pinot.

  • ChrisR Likes this wine:

January 10, 2020 - Broad and expansive (for an Oregon pinot), tangy black cherry and black raspberry, with damp earth notes. A little soft. Overall quite good.

June 6, 2017 - Deep ruby color with no hint of age/browning. Damp earth and subtle jammy fruit. It's really mellowed nicely and has a wonderful mouth feel. Nice spice, pepper finish with a soft undercurrent of red fruits.

This is drinking as well as I remember. Window starts now.
