July 23, 2016 - Decanted x1hr: Etoh on nose, tart plum w heavy tobacco front, long acidic tangerine notes. mellows as warms ... nose persists w/ etoh edged whint of vanilla, flavor complex an expanding dark plum,w deep cherry & leather with long citric notes on the finish. great legs. On the cusp of its best lifespan. Drink now

January 18, 2016 - Notes of black cherry, spice and earth. This is bright, youthful and has a lightness despite being a fairly forward pinot.

August 26, 2012 - Very well developed. Bouquet is a single strong berry fruit tome. The taste was still young and will peak over the next 4 years. lovely fruit starting to meld into a single flavour

October 2, 2010 - The REAL Willamette Valley century club (100 wines at the wineries in 1 day) (Willamette Valley - Oregon): This didn't feel as seemless as the Boulder Bluff bottling, more powerful in color and flavor yet not as balanced in the mouth. Still a nice wine no doubt.

October 2, 2010 - Willamette Valley Century Club (100 wines in a day)!: Some nice oak wood funk on the nose coupled with interesting forest floor. Great balance on the palate, with awesome, delicious deep red fruits. Again, amazing structure on the finish, salt, chalk, and awesome sweet tannins build. Another one build to last. Very impressive!
