Community Tasting Notes 3

October 14, 2022 - Nose: mango, sesame, mangosteen,
Notes: Tasted vertical with 07 and 09. This wine is medium bodied with quite some minerality and most importantly it is still very young. The nose is quite tight in the beginning but after 1.5 hours of breathing the nose improved and showed intense aromas of tropical fruits and toasted sesame. I feel this wine is actually a collectible item as this is probably built and made for the long haul. Unfortunately I am unable to give a higher rating as it's not really ready at this very moment. This wine should be cellared for at least another 6-8 years before trying again.

September 11, 2020 - 3 years since we had this last ( Papies 91) and this really evolved and blossomed for a lack of a better word. We are not usual fans of the hill of Corton but this beautiful vogue raid was a real head turner.
Bright and energetic, full on green citrus feel , lots of depth of elegance and has assimilated all its puppy fat and integrated all the elements well. This is now drinking superbly ( we are not sure if this is peak or not) and definitely felt like it had a lot of time ahead of it. Zero oxidation that we saw last time and this was the proper number. Solid 94

March 26, 2017 - Quite evolved adn felt older than a 2008, quite oxidative on nose and palate (not premoxed btw) with quite a firm citrus feel. Rich and waxy good depth but just not in harmony and lacked the quality and complexity we expected given origin. 91-92
