    March 16, 2023 - Winemaker Dinner with Jean-Jacques Confuron and Christian Clerget (The Pem Restaurant, Conrad Hotel, London SW1): A real treat to try this thanks to a generous fellow diner. Seemed quite muted on the nose. Exquisitely crafted silky tannins and undoubtable pedigree but otherwise didn't seem to be showing that much. Unsure how this bottle was treated on the evening, but again the glass had already been poured before we started our meal. Possibly a great wine I don't know, but despite its class, it was not my favourite on the night - upper class but lacking a bit in personality. From standard fare stemware.

    July 30, 2016 - Very very tight upon opening and decanted for two hours. Finally began to reveal itself after 30 minutes in the glass. Nose was muted but wine had some great dark fruit characteristics. Would not open another bottle for at least five years.

    November 3, 2014 - A Vosne-Romanée Night: Bark berries, some complexity, archetypical PN; medium bodied plus, complexity emerging, fine structure. Promising.
