April 4, 2020 - Wonderfully mature. This is an amazing companion to most rich meat dishes.

August 30, 2019 - Superbly aged. Great effort and very enjoyable with little decant necessary. Enjoy!

January 10, 2019 - Very light colored with an orange rimi indicative of both the age and grape. Substantial tannin but slightly resolved so not gripping as you would expect in younger Barolo. On the palate, earthy but not barnyard. Very elegant with big flavors on the nose and palate both fruit and non-fruit. A lot going on but very integrated and balanced. Was described as a treat of a Barolo and what you would hope an aged Barolo tasted like at the blind tasting. Additionally no one was familiar with it despite two distributors present.

August 24, 2018 - Theme was indigenous grapes of Italy and Spain. I of course brought Nebbiolo. This was a gift - I had not heard of the producer. The wine was right in the Nebbiolo wheelhouse - lots of cherries, big nose, acidity, wonderfully complex palate. Nice gift, as it turned out.
