July 10, 2011 - It has a slightly exotic and enticing nose mixed in with a good wack of crunchy red fruit. It has a rustic quality about it coming from the fruit and the rather dry, but not unpleasant tannins. The finish just lets it down a little being a bit too short and soft, still an interesting wine though, and one I would happily have again.

June 30, 2011 - Lean and tannic with a rustic quality. Not an approachable style of wine, but interesting nonetheless...

June 10, 2011 - Very dry and somewhat bitter. Paired well with a blackened steak sandwich with sun-dried tomatoes. You can definitely taste the syrah in the blend. Dark, earthy, and umami on the nose. Relatively smooth with lots of extremely dark fruit on the palate. Lots of acidity, but all in all fairly well balanced.

May 20, 2011 - Forgot to review. Liked this quite a lot. Unusual flavors. Not that it was unbalanced but not like a traditional Euro or South American wine. More Australian tasting.
