  February 7, 2014 - Rich, dark with black fruit, tar, tobacco, and licorice. Smooth texture. Definitely a food wine.

  June 6, 2012 - Packs a load and is almost port-like but in a pleasant way as it is well balanced with good fruit and acidity. Seems to be in its prime but could last 3+ more years

  Amusement park candy such as cotton candy and licorice rope on the palate. Floral and lavender on the nose. Rich spicy dark fruit. Still going freaking strong.
  Enuf of a finish to time- 45 seconds easily. Wow!!!

  December 7, 2009 - enjoyed with game stuffed pasta, complimented and displayed rich sweet dark fruit elements of the meal, but not clawingly so. a bit waxy on the nose which falls away upon drinking.
  looking forward to the last couple of bottles.
