  October 28, 2022 - This was an incredible treat. Almost perfect display of Napa grapes. Delicious. Great time to drink. Layered. Complex. Yummy.

  April 10, 2022 - Color is clear red, garnet, medium intensity. High-intensity aroma of black fruit, especially plum and black currant. Clove, nutmeg, and other spicy aroma notes from the French oak. Medium-plus intensity on the palate. Palate notes balance perfectly with the nose; soft tannins; low acidity. Medium-plus length. Doesn’t need any more time in the bottle. Definitely drinkable now, but it’s not in danger of dying. Outstanding wine, but not life-altering.

  May 6, 2021 - Extraordinary after a 2 hr decant, with an incredible savory and velvet mouthful so endemic of HA, lots of sweet dark fruits, graphite, minerality in perfect balance with silky tannins and a great finish of 30 seconds. A firm body. Almost gave 100 but just couldn’t. Two more bottles and I can’t wait.
