October 7, 2018 - Medium 18k gold. Nose of lemon cream and lemon rind, lightly musky and savory tropical white palate, medium softly acidic finish. This bottle sealed with a plastic cork almost 14 years ago and given passive storage, obviously not anticipated by the producer. Nonetheless this perfectly sound if rather soft Muscadet was enjoyed with king crab legs.

March 26, 2014 - Citrus and pear. Very velvety, and very much not like young Muscadet. This makes a very good case for occasionally aging this wine.
