January 16, 2023 - Brilliant showing from magnum
Really soft tannins on this. Classic trevallon nose. Still young can easily go ten more years. 13%abv makes a for a particularly sleek and supple trevallon that was extremely easy to enjoy. Beautiful vintage here -

Nose of dry aged beef, leather and herbs.
Very intense palate with still crunch fruit.

October 29, 2021 - Meilleure bouteille (juste devant le 2000) d'une verticale incluant 1995, 2000/1/2/3/4/5/8 et 2014. Arômes très intenses, épices orientales, cerise au marasquin, truffes, nois de cajou, musc. Bouche terriblement sensuelle, c'est d'une précision et d'une élégance inimaginables. Très, très long. Parfait aujourd'hui.
