November 21, 2009 - 11/09: Super fleshy wine, needs time. Very impressive sneak peak. Lot of fruit with rounded edges, long whimsical palate which contains multiple spices and blackberry, young cherry, currants even a hint of black pepper which dance on various taste buds. Grenache is often over ripe= too sweet and alcoholic for me as a single varietal, but this is perfectly balanced and I look forward to trying after several months more in the bottle. 13.5% ETOH. 3/27/10: Drinking well, yet won't hurt to lay down another 6 months. It's charming with great earth, spice and black cherries on the nose. Palate is pleasing with white pepper, minerality, solid cherries and logan berries with hints of cedar. Very lovely. 3/31/12: This is in it's prime, drink now!
