December 5, 2011 - Incredibly fresh and subtle on the nose, this is exactly what good Californian Sauvignon Blanc is all about. Driven by notes of sliced green melon and lemon confit dusted with powdered sugar, soft hints of cut grass and honey show lightly in the background. A spin in the glass opens up floral and mineral notes that conjure up images of small white wildflowers growing out of crushed sea stone.

Ripe and balanced on the palate with a subtle acidity, this is a refined and elegant wine with beautiful layering of flavors. Lots of fresh acidity and minerality create a firm backbone, which supports the ripe melon and citrus tones found at the core. Smooth and almost velvety with excellent balance, this wine is incredibly subtle with a wonderfully minerally finish.
