June 4, 2023 - This bottle is still tasting great right now !!
The cork was perfect after almost a decade and a half years in the bottle. This balanced Pinot Noir was consumed over two days. Deep ruby color with modest oxidation, clarity medium. Savory aromas of black raspberry and pomegranate, flavors of red fruit compote, plum, rhubarb, and marine soil with a pleasant medium finish. Great fruit made into a very balanced Pinot Noir from Sonatera Vineyard located on a ridge near the cooler part of Sebastopol in the Sonoma Coast. Pommard clone with Dijon clones 115, 667 and 777 planted in Goldridge sandy loam. Excellent winemaking by Adam Lee and Ryan Zepaltis. This mature Pinot Noir is near or just past peak and ia an age-worthy wine with a few more years of life remaining. Fortunately I still have another bottle of this vintage remaining in my cellar. I will taste soon to validate this rating. -

August 18, 2015 - Pretty consistent with my other bottles. Maybe more red-fruited. Big with cola notes. Folks who are more inclined to this style of wine will like it a lot, I think.

September 23, 2014 - Much better then a bottle I opened 18 months ago. Really nice mouthfeel. Strong taste of slighly sour cherries.
