February 25, 2021 - Medium/light bodied, fragrant, balanced, lifting but not ethereal. Restrained, with notes of strawberry, spice, cardamom, and a nice long silky finish.

But ultimately lacks presence - mature and ready to drink up.

April 25, 2020 - Medium garnet in color. Strawberries, raspberries, mushrooms and soil on the nose. A bit more development than two years ago. As I recall this wine, it felt a bit alcoholic last time I had it. I may have been wrong; it did come around. It seems a lot more in balance now. The fruit not as ripe and it's got more earthy nuances. Velvety smooth, medium plus acidity, fresh medium finish. The WS I like is back. Cheers!

May 18, 2019 - Similar notes as previous tasting. Blackberries, black raspberries, black cherries, and licorice, Medium bodied and a medium to long finish. Drinking well now, but probably won't get any better, so drink up and enjoy...

February 11, 2019 - Popped and poured. Followed over 4 hours. This was light, fresh, beautiful cherry. Nice acid framework supports the flavors and then the soft tannins take over to the nice finish. Very pretty. Balance was excellent. This was far better than an 08 Flax drank alongside it.
