  March 28, 2021 - Decanted for about an hour. Still quite densely colored core but with lots of bricking around the edges. This was tremendous. Plum, fig, high toned cherry, cigar box, dried tobacco. Lively acidity. Brilliant now and obviously on the downswing, but I think it will remain graceful and elegant for a while. Wish I had a few more.

  August 20, 2013 - this was superb, believe it or not the secondary character -- roses, light smoke, graphite -- were layered on top of a still-kicking fruit base, making this wine beautiful on both the palate and the nose, didn't even seem like it was on it's last legs, only seemed beautifully aged with tons of character... aged cali cab at its finest

  June 25, 2011 - Cannot rate this wine, as it was past its' prime. Cork crumbled out, and color had gone past brown to an orange hue. Smelled a bit like brandy, and though it had seen better days, it was still drinkable, but with no fruit or body. Can not attest for its' storage over time.
