Community Tasting Notes 12

December 2, 2011 - There was something off in the bottle that I got. It seems like there is almost too much of a cherry flavor to it, and it was a really disappointing pinot noir. I'm normally a huge fan, but this is something I definitely wouldn't buy again.

October 9, 2011 - Lackluster relatively light bodied wine. Some hints of blackberry and a little cherry. No pepper to my taste. Served with grilled salmon.

September 7, 2011 - This has been a summer daily drinker. What more can I say? Light ruby in the glass, a little pepper (but not much else) on the nose. This is identifiably Pinot. Primary, no subtlety, but acidic enough to complement many meals. One bottle left; can't leave it here (no heat) so it will go home with me, but there are a lot of bottles at home that I'm anxious to get to first!

August 1, 2011 - A ton of shitty 07 OR Pinots (Patricia Green Cellars, Newburg OR): not sure what to think of this. the majority of others felt that there was something off on this bottle and very different from the one that was offered on berserker day

May 24, 2011 - A nice light, low alcohol Pinot. Some might find it thin and without personality, but I think you are overthinking this wine. It's not meant to be studied and pondered, it is just a simple wine at a great price. Enjoy it w simple roast chicken or salmon.
