April 2, 2013 - Really holding up well. It's aging very well but has kept some of the bite of a V. Sattui Zin.

February 26, 2011 - This is coming along nicely. The tannins are smoothing out. Great match to Steak & Frits. Strong hit of berry on the nose, hints of tobacco in the mouth, medium-long finish. Very nice.

June 6, 2010 - It will be fun to see this evolve over the next few years. Decanted 6 hours before serving with a grilled leg of lamb. Tannin still predominates but dark berry and a hint of dark chocolate. Glad I got a case.

June 3, 2010 - Nice, but not a good as the first bottle.

February 26, 2010 - Still very tight, loads of tannins. After about an hour it started to open up. Loads of blackberry liquor. Reminds me of a lower end Bordeaux. Not that there's anything wrong with that........
Day two-very much reminds me of a classic Califonia Bordeaux blend. Very nice, better than day one. The rough edges, while still present, have smoothed out. Wonderful berry followed by tobacco.
