February 4, 2022 - Based on my last experience I opened this to make coq au vin, assuming it was well past peak. However, it surprised me. Some high toned red fruit with a hint of aged balsamic, bit of earthiness. Actually pretty solid, definitely merits a higher score than the 80 I gave in decade ago

October 1, 2018 - This was the best bottle of the three - acceptable level of red fruit with some depth. It had thrown a LOT of sediment, had to throw out most of the last glass. But at least I could drink most of it.

November 8, 2016 - Well, I actually drank this bottle and since I rated the last one I threw away a 79 then gave this an 80 though "good" is stretching it a bit. Tolerable; much less of the burnt rubber and at times I thought "this is drinkable". I opened this only because my wife needed some wine to put in beef stew. NO MORE MYSTERY WINES FOR ME - EVER

August 21, 2016 - I guess I am lucky enough to have my half-dozen bottles from the center of the GOOD Garagiste palette. Cellar storage has been kind to my bottles, and the strawberry-cherry, barely raspberry, has softened to the point that it is currently delivering all I ask in a good Spanish red; the acid, tannin and fruit to match up with a perfectly medium-rare Steak Fiorentina.
I AM a Grenache whore, but that said, there is really nothing NOT-to-like in my bottles in their present state.
I have 3 bottles left, which I will drink in the next 2-3 years.
