August 2, 2014 - A very nice bottle of wine. Intense, complex nose of a variety of red fruits and berries, smoke/dust, earth and spice. Rich, ripe fruit with a full body and a lush texture. Not overdone, but based on the flavor profile, clearly from Sonoma/Russian River. Great balance and a long fruity, earthy, brambly finish. Based on this bottle, I have to believe it is at its peak right now. This could compete with the best California has to offer. I am raising my score from 92 for prior bottles to 93-94 for this bottle. It was really enjoyable - both with food and as a sipper.

December 25, 2013 - - It's balanced with a medium body. Smooth texture with a medium finish - Cocktailed Xmas Eve: Surprisingly good; smooth texture, not too fruity.

October 24, 2013 - No notes, but this was terrific. Dark berry and earth with ripe, rich, deep flavors, but not overdone. Nice balance, good structure and grip, and a medium bodied, velvety texture. Totally enjoyable and delicious alone or with food.
