March 7, 2010 - Plavac Mali tastes like a cousin of Zinfandel, which it might very well be. This wine has good backbone and is a bit on the fruity side, which a lot of Zins are as well. So if you like Zins with solid acidity and structure, this wine is for you. The tannins are there, but soft enough to drink now, but this wine can go for another 5+ years - i'll save my other bottle for 5 years to see what this grape can do.
