  May 2, 2017 - From memory - dark garnet color. The nose and the palate were packed with raspberry and plum that were very ripe, teetering on overripe. This medium-bodied wine had a plush mouthfeel and moderate acidity as well as a solid, dark fruited finish. Overall, this wine, with no food, was a bit too ripe for my palate, but it was large enough to pair well with a spicy sausage, black bean, and rice dish.

  October 19, 2014 - Dark red center with violet rim. Expressive nose of oak, raspberry and cherry with a touch of sandlewood. The palate is quite direct with raspberry and dark cherry coupled with a wisp of smoke and cocoa. Structurally, this medium-bodied wine has balanced acidity but shows a touch of heat on the finish. Overall, this wine is what I expect from a good CA pinot noir - big nose, ripe fruit, and good acidity.

  November 22, 2012 - And another Thanksgiving wine..... Green/herbal nose of raspberry and cherry; big body that has a bit of a rough acidic profile; massive flavors of cola and plum. Very good but slightly lacking in elegance and polish.
