September 22, 2017 - Glass: Riedel Vinum Syrah
Drunk over 4 days. Clear, deep, ruby color, almost inky, fantastic brilliance.
Clean, medium+ intense and developing nose. Beautiful, complex perfume of spices, ripe plum and red berries, tar, oak, hints of soil and barn and some lactic notes. Nose stayed at this level over time.
Dry with some sweetness (extract and high alcohol). Medium+, ripe acidity that balances the high alcohol (14,5% abv) mostly well. Medium+, velvet tannin. Full bodied. On the palate a very good mixture of fruit (blueberries, plum), some yoghurt, oak and lots of spices and herbs. Medium+ finish. Silky taste, mouth coating without being too fat, very good length. At its peak but it has enough resources for another 5+ years. Good PQR. 92-93

March 14, 2016 - deep red-purple color, starting to show signs of age, very aromatic (aromas were all around the table), showing very ripe plums, subtle liquorice, leather and spices, this is hot but not overwhelmingly hot, extracted, dense, new world style, with smooth tannins and low acidity. to drink now.

February 11, 2011 - Great nose. lots of blackberry, jammy, spice, and leather. Good tannin with toast, vanilla. Long finish and full body.

    January 7, 2011 - Decanted for 1 hour.
This wine has inebriating aromas jumping from the glass....very ripe mulberries and raspberries, liquorice, leather and hints of soaked oak. On the palate, this is full bodied with layers of fruit, chewy tannins and toasted oak notes with medium-long aftertaste. One of the best Argentinean Malbecs I've had so far. Drink now to 2016. Totally recommended! 92+

September 26, 2010 - Hmmmmmm, some bottle variation? Very good, but not quite as good as I recall the last one being.
