November 19, 2019 - nice nose, very Gewurtz like, good mix of exuberance and elegance. However on the palate, there is some oxidation notes. too bad, this wine could have been really good. passed its prime?

July 6, 2016 - Past its prime. A very lean style that I did not find appealing.

January 23, 2016 - Peach straw coloured, nose of rose, apricot, wax and a sort of powdery perfume. The palate is nicely textured, which I feel is a highlight of the wine. It has good balance, in a dry style. Developed beeswax, honey, apricot and rose. It lacks much interest, spice or real significant complexity to stand out, but perfectly fine now.

September 5, 2006 - This is probably a matter of taste more than quality, but I found that the oily and bitter tastes overpowered the fruit and spice, giving this a very high-alcohol and high-petrol nose with little sweet and spicy fruit to compensate. Maybe I am just a simpleton who prefers more residual sugar and more fruit in my Gewurtzs.

April 11, 2005 - A Day With Olivier Humbrecht (Turckheim, Alsace, France): Light gold in color. Clearly shows the power and grit of Herrenweg Gewurz but in a very dry style. Shows a little alcohol on the finish. Would be interesting to try in a couple of years when it has time to better integrate.
