January 20, 2023 - Opened and decanted for 30 minutes and drank for 2 hours
Complex but well integrated nose of cedar, fresh berries, and spices.
Beautifully weighted on the palate, round, smooth tannins, elegant and with great structure, floral and fruity in such a refreshing way. Flowers garden in the aftertaste. This wine is definitely in its drinking window and should continue to drink well for the next 5 years.
Note: I have had this wine before in 2019, 2020, and 2021. They were good in those years but I felt that the wine was a bit too fruity for my liking then, and would have gotten a 91 for the score. The 2007 Revana has really matured well.

Crystal ruby black. Light cherry nose
Nice cherry flavors, but then some dry wood. This May need some air. Judgement initially reserved.
With an hour, this sweetens up and comes together beautifully.
I’d strongly recommend a decant for the sediment and to wake the wine up.
