Community Tasting Notes 2

October 25, 2013 - Not much nose. A little edge of berry notes remain on the palate. Oaky notes dominate. Not terrible, but typical of bulk, cheap Cali cab. Opened and decanted/in glass for about an hour.

June 3, 2010 - This reminded me of a typical light cookie cutter wine from the Napa Valley. I wouldn't say that I won't drink, but I wont say that I like it. It seemed like a wine that tried to get nice Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and blend mediocre blending varieties into it. The say the least it was an American styled Napa Valley Cab. Right from the bad Cabernet Sauvignon jumped out of the glass with minimal complexity. On the nose I got a lot of oak, blue berry, and green vegetables. It had light tannin that finally was able to set in. For sight it looked like it was...2006...not blue not red. It had light spice and light jammy berry fruit.
