    March 19, 2020 - Very savoury, but a bit tart; definitely old-school.

September 29, 2017 - Couldn't make notes at the time but this wine that was purchased on release and stored by me was still in excellent condition and had sufficient stuffing to last a few years more. Typical OB Shiraz, big and warm with lots of American Oak. Nicely softened but retaining sufficient structure to keep it going.

August 11, 2016 - Really lovely straight from the bottle. Beautiful colour. Balanced and savoury; perfect tannins with balancing acidity. Lovely savoury raspberry fruit; no sign of turning at all. At its peak or just past it. No faults at all. Only criticism might be that it is slightly one dimensional, but its a good dimension. Long and pleasant aftertaste. This wine has been stored well since purchase in late 90's.

September 22, 2013 - Nose has big extracted black fruit aromas, cocoa and vanilla. But on the palate, this wine tastes like sour wood chips. Unpleasant enough that we stopped drinking after half a glass each.
