October 30, 2010 - Tobacco and leather meet blackberries on the nose, with the fruit fading as the wine aerates. Nice firmness to the tannins, with a good balance of fruit and acidity to the taste. Highly recommended.

August 5, 2010 - PNP, as we went along drinking the bottle over 3hrs it did get much better with air time. This probably should of been decanted but we were being lazy. Nose was somewhat flat at first but did smell some blackberries, floral with more air time.. Tasted a lot of licorice & cherry and dried your mouth within 10 seconds. Spicy on the back end. Still learning wine (much more to go), so I would assume this means the tannins are not structured or balanced. Local liquor store had this on sale from $25.99 to $14.99, how can you go wrong with a St. Supery for 14.99??
