April 14, 2018 - Blackcurrant nose. Good drinking but perhaps getting a bit thin. Not a patch on the much fuller 1995 Clos des Papes we drank a couple of days later. I think we need to finish off the remaining bottles in the not-too-distant future.

September 8, 2017 - Cellaraid Discovery Box; 5/19/2017-5/26/2021 (Delivered to Home): deep garnet colour; high intensity, acid, tannins, and full body; red cherry, plum, tangerine, hawthorne, coffee, cedar, mushroom, forest floor, pencil shavings, tea leaves, braised duck; good wine to be drunk now as it feels fully developed... don't keep it any longer
