September 12, 2015 - Surprisingly decent for such an old wine from such a weak Bordeaux vintage. Little bit cloudy but more brick red than brown. Nose had old books and mushrooms but also the merest whiff of strawberry fruit. Bit hot, acidic and unbalanced on the palate but not unpleasant to drink. Fully expected this to be an undrinkable curiosity so a bit of a pleasant surprise.
