  September 27, 2019 - Ard & David’s 50th birthday dinner (Chez David, Amsterdam, NL.): Level base of neck. Fully mature and completely intact, clean and light, displays a certain gentle elegance, smooth texture, raspberries; very slightly edgy finish, but good length.

  March 13, 2015 - Sans être imbuvable, un vin qui a clairement passé son apogée.
  Pas de faux goût ou de défauts perceptibles.
  Le vin est trouble dans le verre et au départ, pas très bavard au nez.
  La bouche est mince, sur des notes tertiaires mais avec quand même un peu de fruit et d'acidité encore. Goûté à l'aveugle, j'ai trouvé qu'à ce stade de vieillissement, toutes les caractéristiques de l'appellation avaient à peu près disparues, ce qui rendait l'identification très ardue.
  Le vin va se détériorer dans le verre au fil de la soirée.
  Une expérience intéressante pour goûter à un vieux Palmer, mais dans ce millésime, j'ai peur que ça soit un peu tard...
