  October 11, 2019 - Terrific old Côte-Rôtie. Musty at first, but it opened up and blossomed throughout the evening. A whiff of smoke and asphalt, black cherries and dark fruits. Still fresh with excellent balance and depth. From a ragged, moldy bottle at Aux Vin in Tokyo. Highly recommended.

  June 15, 2019 - Winebar [4 Whites, 8 Reds, & 8 *shared* bottles] from 06/14/19 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): SENSATIONAL sleuthing to come up with *this* one, Joaquin! :)
  
  N: CHERRIES with notes of oranges; Intensity lurking
  
  P: LM body; Very NICE, ALMOST swtish frt elegantly firmed by an acidity which SEAMLESSLY evolves into a LONG, BALANCED finish with a tangy/SWTNESS to the FEW, but TOTALLY innocuous, dusty tannins. Should you be so fortunate, drink this GEM now, though it should hold for several yrs more. EXQUISITE! My EXC+/Exceptional- (94-97/100 on that scale), though trending towards the higher.

  July 31, 2016 - Solid color moderate nose earth mineral mild early petroleum that cleared. Restrained tannins, smooth and balanced after early acidic flavor resolved. Moderate length finish. Probably past prime but still pleasant and drinkable.

  October 2, 2012 - Purchased on release for $16.... wish I had a case more. Georges Duboeuf's venture into Cote Rotie. The cork was pristine, the wine's color was medium dark brick red with no real browning at the edges. But the wine had softened and melded together into a delicious blend of bacon fat, leather and berries. It still had bright acidity as well. Don't know how many have this, but it's drinking beautifully but will carry on for awhile.
