January 28, 2018 - Relatively low fill and a crumbly cork so expectations were on the low side, but the colour is very good, with just the faintest hint of bricking at the rim. Popped and poured - bouquet was quite vibrant at first, but dropped off a little over time. Surprisingly little development on the nose, just a delicate, almost floral aroma. Not terribly concentrated in the mouth, but again, the developed character is quite subtle. Very smooth, the tannins almost completely integrated. Reasonable length, still with a little bit of grip on the finish. A delicate wine, but by no means a feeble one. It's unlikely to improve, but I think equally unlikely to fall over for a few years yet. Drink 'em if you've got 'em.
