  January 10, 2013 - First bottle we had, had faded, this one hung on. Much better. Firm tannins with dark cherry throughout the palate. Lighter cherry color than expected with a brown rim as before. good mouth feel and subtle sweetness about it. did not decant, as we were fearful from the first bottle that it would fade quickly once opened. Overall great value wine!

  December 15, 2012 - Dark purple with brown tinge on the color, palate is full with plums and almost caramel taste that adds a sweetness to this giving it almost a port feel. Little past its prime, but overall solid bottle.

  January 12, 2011 - Good color still, with a brown tinge. Very nice bouquet in the decanter which diminished slightly in the glass. Some remaining fruit and good mouth feel. Getting lean, but still worth drinking.
