  April 5, 2014 - Showing well right now. Beautiful nose of fruit and lots of chalky minerality on the palate when first opened. After a little air the red and dark fruit nuances become more pronounced on the palate and the wine develops nicely. The oak is completely integrated throughout. Plenty of tannins and grip on the finish. Will develop nicely over the next 2-3 years. 92-94 pts. PJP 2014.

  March 16, 2014 - After decanting, very nice after 30 min. Even better after 1 hr. A bit chewy and full. Very nice, a little on the sweet side.

  October 22, 2013 - Made in a style that I don't particularly enjoy. I feel this is a well-crafted wine but the brett on the nose and palate was off putting. Again, this is not my style. However, it does pair extremely well with a mixed green salad with fresh garden vegetables and raspberry vinaigrette.

  May 19, 2013 - Odd soy sauce / teriyaki on the nose, which fortunately didn't come through upon tasting, but gave a mismatch between the nose and taste. Nice velvety petite sirah mouthfeel, and wine is throwing off some sediment. Showed better with food (simple roast chicken) but did not finish the bottle.
