April 10, 2014 - Opened initially and had a few glasses, came down with a sore throat, left bottle in cellar next 3 days. Wasn't as fresh on day 4. This is an Anderson Valley PN, and shows a less ripe, cooler climate Pinot profile that I prefer to most of the Sonoma/RRV and certainly the Napa AVA's. Drink this wine in the next 2 years IMHO.

May 2, 2013 - Transparent ruby/garnet. Earthy, smoky nose. Mid-to-full bodied with notes of cherries, strawberries, mushrooms, and toast. Touches of damp earth, flowers, cola, and spice. Balanced, with a smooth mouthfeel, and a medium, lively, earthy finish. Could have used more complexity but a nice example from a difficult vintage.
