April 5, 2019 - Nicely mellowed. The years have been kind. Black fruit on entry. Then, some leather. Tannin is nicely settled down. I bit more back of the palate tartness than I might have guessed. Also a retro-nasal suggestion of anise.

February 15, 2017 - Had this last night with my wife's famous braciole. This wine had an outstanding nose of red/black fruit, slight menthol and licorice. Excellent layers of fruit with a pretty good finish at the end. Really good stuff!

September 7, 2015 - Good nose full of dark cherries, oak, currant and hints of dust. Big and bold on the palate with a sweet, long finish. Really nice juice.
