December 23, 2022 - Garnet color, medium weight.
Nose of red currants and toasted coconut.
Drying somewhat. Some fruit left but past it's better days.
Long finish with soft tannin and more toasted coconut. Good enough.

September 14, 2021 - Translucent garnet-tawny with a clear rim. Moderate intensity nose of green capsicum, cassis and five spice; light to medium-bodied, tannins resolved, damp earth and mushrooms of medium intensity. The wine is balanced and mature, not particularly complex, but pleasant enough. The nose is the best part of the wine. Drink up.

October 21, 2017 - Cellaraid - Cabernet Sauvignon Taste-Off Dinner (Tonny's Restaurant): started quite well with mix of redcurrant, blackcurrant, sweet spices and oak, but very quickly went downhill and flattened out, somewhat like stale tea... sorry but I think this bottle has gone way past it's best, can't call it "flawed" though...

June 6, 2012 - Lovely mature Bordeaux. Nose is fragrant and a few notes reminiscent of a damp basement do not spoil the pleasure. Dried plums on the nose together with coffee. Texture is silky and fluid, tannins are completely gone and acidity is rather low. Very satisfying drink.

November 22, 2008 - Lots of leather on the nose. Dusty tannins, quite a bit of acidity and dried fruit. Well balanced but a little thin body for a classified Margaux.
