July 23, 2016 - Magnificent stone nose, deep golden color, a classic white burg with pear, peach and exotic fruit. Drink now but better in the next couple years IMO.

September 19, 2014 - Chicago: wine, food, friends...cigars!; 9/17/2014-9/20/2014 (Blackbird, Les Nomades, Naha, with lunch at Shaw's Crab House): I'm not sure which was more fun, enjoying this with the dinner, or comparing it with the 2009 Araujo Eisele Vyd Sauv Blanc in the glass right next to it. I'll go with the comparing, as there were things in common, and clear differences, too, but both worked exceptionally well with the rich food of one-star restaurant Naha, Chicago. Lovely texture, but also some spicy, peachy depth to it, along with abundant acidity. Delicious, and not so serious; a wine to enjoy with good friends, good food and really have some fun with it. A little something for everyone, I think. Thru 2018, recommended

    Served non-blind. Slow-O 30 minutes.
