November 29, 1988 - At Michael's in Boston. Well-colored, golden wine. Nose suggests great complexity lurks. Lots of toasty oak. On the palate, lots of oak and attractive fruit, but not quite enough to handle the oak. A little thin in the finish. 5-9-13-4: 81/100.
