August 17, 2012 - Buttery & creamy (+3 points for most others--not my style) with plenty of melon and stone fruits. Enough oak and vanilla to give it a pleasant finish and keep it from being cloying. Needs some more acidity to be a good food wine. Still, for someone who prefers more austere wines, this wasn't too bad.

11/17/2014 Wow, time in the bottle sure helped this. HUGE amounts of apricot fruit. Color has turned a deeper golden, and the butter seems to have pulled back. Would easily give it a 90+ this time.
