Community Tasting Notes 21

  • The Bugle Likes this wine:

    April 1, 2022 - Wonderful. Beautiful
Subtle bouquet of dark berry fruits and earthiness, some floral hints. Light bodied and subtle. Fully integrated. Soft and delicate. Well developed but drinking beautifully and not over the hill. Didn’t deteriorate in the two hours before the wine was all drunk.

March 21, 2021 - Sensory note from last April still applies. This is in a great place at the back end of primary. 2008 acids not and issue. So savory. Enjoy now or down the road! 93

    May 4, 2020 - Tasted over 2 hrs
-nearly semi-translucent dark red mild bricking
-gorgeous expressive complex red fruit stewed tomato black peppercorn mild sous bois
-med acidity, med weight sappy tangy full but not heavy earthy faded sweet red fruit Gevrey spice savory earthy animale, med/med- tannins have a faint bitter note
-this is wonderful and drinking brilliantly now with just a touch of rusticity and so very Cazetiers with the vintage's acidity giving it life and lift
